Flight Training Network

Our Story

After years of flying, instructing, and working inside traditional flight schools, our founders saw the same problems repeat themselves again and again. Students struggled to get on the schedule. Aircraft availability slowed progress. Training dragged on for months or years longer than it needed to.

The solution was not a bigger school or more overhead. It was a better system.

FTN began by applying accelerated training principles in a practical, student-centered way. Instead of rotating instructors and competing for aircraft time, students trained with dedicated aircraft and instructors, following structured plans designed around real availability and real life constraints.

What started as a single operation quickly grew. As demand increased, FTN evolved into a nationwide network, partnering with experienced instructors and training centers across the country to offer consistent training standards, flexible locations, and clear pathways from first flight through professional aviation careers.

Today, Flight Training Network supports students in dozens of locations, with more added regularly, while maintaining the same core philosophy that made the original model successful.

Our Mission

Our mission is to make flight training more efficient, more transparent, and more adaptable to the individual.

FTN exists to remove unnecessary friction from the training process. We do this by prioritizing scheduling consistency, clear expectations, and programs that respect both time and investment.

Students are never forced into a single path. Accelerated training is available for those who want to move quickly, but traditional pacing remains an option for those who need flexibility. Every plan is built around the student’s goals, availability, and learning style.

By combining structured training, modern tools, and a nationwide instructor network, FTN helps students train with confidence, momentum, and clarity at every stage of their journey.

The Career 2.0 Concept

For many FTN students, aviation is not a first step, it is a long-held dream. They are professionals who have chosen to change their career path, and pursue flight with clarity, commitment, and purpose.

We call this Career 2.0

Career 2.0 students value efficiency, structure, and honest guidance. They are motivated, goal-oriented, and ready to treat training like a professional commitment rather than a hobby.

FTN is designed to support that mindset. Students work with dedicated instructors, follow intentional training plans, and have the ability to train full-time when their schedule allows. For those pursuing professional outcomes, this approach often results in shorter overall timelines and fewer delays caused by scheduling conflicts or inconsistent instruction.

Career 2.0 does not mean rushing. It means training with purpose, minimizing wasted time, and making informed decisions about pace, aircraft, and progression.

Whether a student is changing careers, building time, or pursuing advanced ratings, FTN provides the structure and flexibility needed to move forward with confidence.
